  • Lake Ontario, New York. The Bluffs were formed from drumlins, which in turn were created by glaciers in the last ice age. The impressive pinnacles and cliffs, some of which rise up to 150 feet (45m) from the Lake Ontario shore, have existed throughout recorded history, they present a changing panorama: the average erosion of bluffs is 1 to 5 feet per year.

  • Niagara Falls is the collective name for three waterfalls located on the Niagara River draining Lake Erie into Lake Ontario. <br />
The Falls are more than 165 ft (50 m) tall and have the highest flow rate of any waterfall in the world.<br />
